Piano

Kate is an accomplished pianist, able to perform at a very high standard, and is comfortable with classical and most other styles. She is an intuitive chamber musician and accompanist, and also enjoys performing solo. Kate was asked to play a CPE Bach Sonata for ITV’s production of Jane Austen’s ‘Persuasion’, and has played for a number of solo functions, providing background music suitable for any occasion, including within some of the National Trust's local properties.

Piano Tuition

Kate provides piano tuition for beginners right through to diploma level for all ages. Formally a teacher a King Edward's School in Bath, now with her own private teaching practise, Kate is a friendly and patient tutor, offering tuition for Bath, Bristol and Somerset areas.

Music Theory Tuition

Kate is also able to offer Music Theory tuition for Grades 1-8.

Piano Accompaniment

Kate is able to offer piano accompaniment at all levels, such as instrumental examinations up to diploma standard, and recitals.
